Privacy Policy

I like to keep things simple. No user accounts, no hardcore tracking, no selling of data. While you are browsing my website, this means:

• No cookies: I do not set tracking cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
• Anonymized IP: Your IP address is anonymised and securely processed (e.g., hashed), so it can’t be reversed to identify you.
• Aggregated statistics: I only track general activity like page views or country of access. No personal information is collected.
• Local storage: All data is stored locally on my server located in the EU; I never share it with third parties.

This site doesn’t run ads. You won’t see blinking banners, auto-playing videos or cookie popups that feel like hostage negotiations. There’s no Google Analytics here. If you want to know about the analytics tool I do use, check out: https://wp-statistics.com/

If you contact me through an enquiry form, I collect your name, email address and message to respond.

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have (willingly) provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. You can do so by contacting hello@annafoucault.com.

If you subscribe to my email list, I collect your name and email address to send you my newsletter. I assume you actually want it, and I ask you a gazillion times to be sure.

I use Kit as my marketing platform. By subscribing to my email list, you agree that the personal data you provided will be transferred to Kit, Inc. for processing in accordance with Kit’s Privacy Policy.

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I or Kit hold about you, except for any data Kit is obliged to keep for legal or administrative purposes.
